What you can expect at an APQS Road Show
Are you thinking about investing in a longarm quilting machine? If you are, you likely have lots of questions. From features to financing to machine size there is a lot of information to sort through, and things can quickly become overwhelming. That’s where the APQS Road Shows come in.
Our Road Shows take place all across the country and are designed to give you all the information you need to make an informed purchase you’ll feel good about. The best part – you’ll even get a chance to test drive our machines.
Here’s what you can expect from the event:
Plan ahead
We ask that you reserve your spot to attend the Road Show experience in advance. To find an event near you, visit the APQS Road Show Calendar.
On the day of the event, please plan to attend the full duration of the Road Show. Most shows take about three hours, and throughout the course of the event we cover a lot of important information. This allows all attendees to have a shared understanding of the machines when it comes time for that all-important test drive.

We begin each Road Show by sharing important information about APQS and what sets us apart from other longarm quilting manufacturers.

- We share the differences between our longarm quilting machines, table frames, and computerized quilting.

Get to know the longarm quilting world
Road Shows are designed for quilters who do not currently own a longarm machine or want to upgrade from your current quilting system.
- You’ll learn how to oil, clean and service your machine to a lifetime of quilting enjoyment.
- We’ll share resources for patterns, batting, thread, longarm supply companies and more.
- We’ll share which accessories are the “gotta haves” to make your quilting fast and easy.
- Finally, if you’re thinking about starting your own quilting business, we’ll share some business resources, too. For example, we’ll share marketing tips, pricing models and income forecasting. You’ll even get a Sample Business Plan.
Test drive an APQS machine
The best piece of advice we can give you about buying a longarm is to try as many quilting machines as possible. You can read all you want about a machine’s specs and reviews, but there’s simply nothing that compares to actually giving it a try yourself.
At our Road Show, we’ll have our longarm quilting machines set up and ready for you to test drive. This will help you get a feel for the machines and discover which one is the best fit for you. We will of course also be right there to answer any questions you have as you’re giving the machine a try.
