Get ready for summer with this fun quilt that’s brilliant for showcasing colorful prints and quilting designs.
Planning and piecing the quilt
Make the Flying Geese for this quilt using a no-waste technique, which yields 4 matching “Geese” from each print 9¼” square. You’ll use 3 matching Geese for each block, and have 30 leftover Geese that can be used in a pieced quilt backing.
Use an accurate ¼” seam allowance throughout to ensure all elements of the quilt fit together well.
Handle all bias edges carefully to avoid distortion.

I have made this pattern before and it is a great way to use up scraps too! My bride wanted a blue and white quilt so I made mine with a lot of my blue scraps. It was beautiful!
I’ve tried to download the free Seaside Breeze pattern, but it gives a different called Fragments in Time.
