Free pattern: Path to Grandma’s House
December 12, 2023
Cherish those childhood holiday memories at Grandma’s house with the Path to Grandma’s House quilt pattern. It’s like a cozy haven in the woods.
Quilt dimensions
Finished size: 70″ x 94″
Finished blocks: 35 (12″) blocks
Quilting and finishing tips
- Layer and baste the backing, batting and quilt top.
- The quilt pictured was quilted with a continuous swirling feather motif in all cream areas and various serpentine shapes in the green tree blocks, black star points and red tone-on-tone squares. The quilter also quilted a square grid in the red floral squares and added clamshell quilting on the black roofs with back-and-forth stitches on the red chimneys. The quilt was finished with repeating loops on the red border and features on the green/red border.
- Bind the quilt.

Path to Grandma’s House was designed and machine quilted by Charisma Horton.
