Refer to the Quick-Pieced Triangle-Squares in Sew Easy Lessons section of the pattern. Cut foundation patches at least 1″ larger than corresponding foundation areas. Make 60 full-size copies of the foundation pattern. Refer to Paper Foundation Piecing in Sew Easy Lessons at the end of the pattern.

How do I get the 200% increase for the foundation piece? confused
Hi Barbara! You just need to double the size of the provided pattern. Some printers can do that or you can take it to a copy shop and have them do it for you. Enjoy the project!
Do you join the 2 foundation pattern pieces before you sew or after? I have done lots of paper piecing but never seen it printed like this and if you join them before pieces why weren’t they drawn already together?

Likely the pattern designer created the foundation pieces separately because when enlarged as directed 200%, the pattern combined would be too large for a single sheet of paper. Since you are an experienced paper piecer, you could probably combine the two enlarged patterns into one pattern for piecing.
