APQS Beginner Longarm Class – Lincoln, IL

The APQS Beginning Longarm Class is designed to give new longarm quilters the foundation of knowledge they need to start quilting with confidence. This class the perfect jump-start for new owners of all brands of longarm quilting machines!
In this class, you’ll learn all about:
• Thread, needles, batting, and backing fabric
• Loading a quilt on the frame
• Machine operation and safety
• Balancing thread tension
• Basic quilting techniques
• Paper pantographs
• Machine care and maintenance
• Business tips
• And so much more!
This 6-hour class is primarily lecture/demonstration and is taught in small group settings that allow everyone the opportunity to ask questions and participate. We’ll take a lunch break around noon, so please bring a sack lunch or plan to enjoy one of our local eateries!
Tuition is $200. This class is FREE for those who have purchased a new or factory-certified pre-owned/demo APQS longarm quilting machine in the past year. If you’ve recently purchased an APQS machine, please call us at (217)732-4112 so we can help you register.
