Cynthia Corbin
Cynthia Corbin’s art quilts have been exhibited in galleries and museums
throughout the United States and abroad, including the Textile Museum,
Tilburg, The Netherlands, and Gallery Hoerie Am Bodensee, Germany. Her
work has been included in national exhibits such as CraftForms, Visions,
Quilt National, FiberArt International, and Craft USA.
Cynthia has received numerous awards from exhibitions such as CraftForms
2001 in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and Muse For The Millennium at the Nordic
Heritage Museum in Seattle, Washington.
Photographs of Cynthia’s art quilts have been published in many books
and magazines— from Beautiful Things, GUILD Publishing, and Fine Art
Quilts: Contemporary QuiltArt Assoc., Fiber Studio Press, to Art/Quilt
Magazine and Quilter’s Newsletter. One of Cynthia’s quilts was selected
as the cover illustration for the book In The Grip, published by
Consulting Psychologists Press.
Cynthia was born in 1947 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She currently
works in her home studio in Woodinville, Washington, and teaches and
lectures throughout the Northwest and beyond. Cynthia’s Web site is
