Oh Claudia, you lucky girl! I LOVE antique "anything & everything." Wow, you sure made that quilt shine with your McT'ing! Tell Sabine she has
inspired me to use my antique linens that are worn in areas, to make me one of these quilts! Awsome Idea!!

It is so lovely and has all of the special quilting signature touches of Claudia.

her bed---The quilt that keeps her loved ones warm---Is woven of her love and dreams and thread." excerpt from The Romance of the Patchwork

I'm with SheriB! Anything antique and red & white linens are at the top of the list! Excellent ideas all the way around! The quilting is perfect
on this. Such a "Ladies Quilt"!
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

WoW I love it! Fantastic quilting and what a fab idea to use old linen. I'm a collector of strange old things and I think there are some red t-towles
in my cupboard. I recall some that had "the Commonwealth of Australia" on them. May have to go on a hunt.
Cheers and have a great day

Claudia,
I just took a peek at that web site...Wow!! You are right, beautiful work and to think they did that without electricity!! My mother is very good with
embroidery. She learned when she was a child and if she didn't do it just right my grandmother made her take it all out and start all over.
