The Information We Collect, How It's Used

APQS.com collects basic information about how Web site users are accessing the features on our Web site.  This raw data does not identify users by name or e-mail and is only used to track broad numbers of how many people are accessing pages or which search engines they are accessing the site through.  We never save or access any personal information while gathering this information.  The information is used to help us expand sections of the site that customers use most.

We also may collect basic information that does not identify users by name or e-mail that outlines which type of Web browser you are using (example Netscape or Internet Explorer) and the type of operating system you are using  (example Windows XP or Mac OS).  This raw information is used to test features on the site to make sure they work properly with the Web browsers accessing the site.  This information also tells us which country users are accessing the Web site from.

Some forms on this site collect personal information like names, addresses and e-mail addresses.  All forms are voluntary.  This information is only used to provide information about APQS products or services to customers, as requested, and is never sold to anyone.  E-mail addresses are not saved on the Web site.

APQS discussion boards require users to sign-up for a screen name and password before they can post information.  This registration process requires users to provide an e-mail address and allows them to also give more personal information, like their Web site address or name, if they choose.  This information is not distributed or sold to anyone, but can be viewed by anyone online, so only add personal information as you see fit.  Users who fail to abide by the set rules for the boards can be banned from using them.

The discussion board area of the Web site makes use of browser "cookies". Cookies are files written to a user's hard disk and read by the server programs to inform a Web site if the user has previously visited the site. We use cookies to save your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site.  Cookies can be rejected by your Web browser by changing its security settings.

APQS workers who have access to any personal information users provide to us are required to protect this information in a manner that is consistent with this privacy policy, for example, not using the information for any purpose other than to carry out the services they are performing for APQS.com.

APQS.com also reserves the right to share any personal information with government authorities when legally required to do so.  This includes cooperating with any investigations claiming illegal activity.
