Cheryl Uribe Joins NCQC Board
I was asked and accepted to be on the NCQC Board. It is
the Northern California Quilt Council. They are an
intrical part of the quilting culture here in CA. They
bring together Quilt Shops, Guilds and Teachers. They
also organized special Quilt projects and exhibits, and
act as a liaison for different aspects of quilting. I
hope to bring some Longarm program ideas with me on this
new adventure!
The purpose of NCQC is to facilitate communication among
quilt groups, among shop owners, teachers, judges,
museums and vendors, as well as to coordinate a master
calendar of quilting events in the Northern California
area. NCQC provides a forum for discussing common
concerns and new ideas.
This organization shares information about speakers,
workshops, shops, and anything else that is of interest
to quilters. As a service to our members and the
community we provide lists of teachers, judges, guilds,
conferences, quilt shops, museums and other
organizations that promote quilting.
