APQS Warranties

APQS quilting machines are backed by a 36-month warranty on parts and labor. It's just another example of our complete commitment to quality and workmanship.

APQS Limited Warranty:

American Professional Quilting System, Carroll, IA, U.S.A. ("APQS"), expressly warrants its new products manufactured by APQS to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of thirty-six (36) months after delivery to the original retail purchaser.

APQS's obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any part or parts which, within the thirty-six (36) month period as above set forth shall be returned transportation charges prepaid to APQS, Carroll, IA.

The repair or replacement of defective parts under this warranty will be made by APQS without charge for parts, or labor for the actual repair of such defective parts, except import duties, sales or use taxes, if any, on replacements.

The provisions of this warranty do not apply to any APQS products or service parts therefore which have been subject to misuse, negligence or accident or which shall have been repaired or altered outside of APQS factory in any way so as in the judgment of APQS to affect adversely its performance, stability or reliability nor to normal maintenance service. (such as cleaning, oiling, timing and other mechanical adjustments and maintenance inspections) or the replacement of service items (such as lights bulbs, needles, hook assemblies, bobbin cases and belts) made in connections with such services or required as maintenance, or to normal deterioration of appearance items (such as paint) due to wear and exposure, or to accessories, or service parts sold separately which have been improperly installed.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED IN FACT OR BY LAW, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE REMEDIES OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS ABOVE SET FORTH ARE THE ONLY REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY. APQS DISCLAIMS ANY OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT (AND WHETHER FOR NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, PRODUCT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE), INCLUDING LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT WARRANTED, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, COMMERCIAL LOSS OR ANY OTHER DIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY ON THE PART OF APQS TO ANYONE OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER by reason of the manufacture, sale, lease or use of the warranted products and APQS neither assumes nor authorizes anyone to assume for it any other obligation or liability in connection with such warranted products.
