MASTER QUILTER - Marilyn Badger
Marilyn has owned APQS machines for 20 years. Among the numerous awards, her most prestigious are two longarm awards at AQS Paducah, one of which was the first purchase award for a longarm quilt which resulted in the quilt becoming a permanent part of the National Quilt Museum collection. Both awards were for collaborative quilts with Claudia Myers.
In the fall of 2011 the National Quilt Museum is featuring five of Marilyn's quilts in a special exhibit of longarm quilted quilts. The exhibit will run from mid-October through mid-January, 2012. It is the first of its kind and should be of interest to all longarm quilters.
