When people ask me what I do for a living I say that I am in the business of making memories. With every project that I take on I see a story unfold. When I create a portrait I am capturing a moment in time. I love helping others to preserve that image because it holds a memory or a sentiment in suspended animation for the life of that portrait.
When I make a wedding quilt, a baby quilt, or a signature quilt it is a celebration of an important time in a family's life. The quilt is a symbol meant to invoke a feeling and to be a place marker to remind people of a time that has past.
